The MN Models range of RC Trucks share a similar design and the suspension components can be upgrade from our stock of upgrades
The MN82 has a light chassis so is best suited to the basic oil shocks at the front, with the stock leaf leaf spring suspension at the rear. Upgrading the front is worthwhile and looks great, but we only recommend changing the leaf spring setup if you plan to use heavy cargo loads, due to how stiff it will become. You will need a single pair of shock mounts for the front upgrade.
The MN90-99 and MN168 models feature more advanced shock components
The MN90-99 series can be upgraded with either of our spring sets and require upgraded suspension mounts. The heavy duty sets come with a set of mounting plates, but we advise against using them in favour of 2x pairs of suspension mounts. These provide a better and easier fit to the body, with an improved suspension angle for the shocks
The MN168 requires the heavy duty shock and dampers and 2x pairs of mounts.
The heavy duty shocks are larger and stiffer, so offer a firmer and more stable ride where these models can feel top heavy. The basic spring sets have less resistance, so provide a more visible 'crawler' experience at low speeds
